Condolences
Heartfelt condolences to Gerry’s family and the friends & colleagues who knew him best. I am Gerry’s cousin (daughter of Ed Gerlinsky of Melville, SK). We only met on perhaps three occasions as children and I’ve often thought of Gerry and prayed his life was rich and blessed.
Gerry’s cousins, his extended Gerlinsky family and I would be so pleased to know more about our highly respected and well-loved cousin and to share other Gerlinsky history with Alma. Feel free to email me. Sincere condolences. Uncle Ed’s Family

I know you are a strong woman my friend. God is on your side, I wish we were closer. Call me anytime. I love you my friend.
I am an old friend of Gerry’s from The Banff Centre. The guys and gals who worked at The Centre in the 80s were a terrific bunch, and Gerry was one of the great ones. He is and was beloved by many. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family.
Alma: I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your wonderful husband, Gerry. Gerry’s motto “live each day to the fullest” is absolutely correct because life is so fragile and unpredictable. You and Gerry’s best vacation was to Cebu, but what about your trip up to West Edmonton Mall? I told you that it sounded so romantic! I remember one evening last summer Gerry bringing you home from work on the bicycle! I watched you two out my living room window! God bless Gerry Gerlinsky, and God bless you and your family, Alma!
Yours respectfully
Glenn Smith

I am so saddened by this news, I have no words. My heart is heavy and I just want to weep but then I think of Gerry and all of the laughter and life that he brought to everyone that he met and I smile, my heart becomes lighter and I get a sense of warmth from my head to my toes. I am sorry for your loss, but please know that Gerry brought such a positive and loving vibe to everyone that he met. It has been my honour to know such a kind and loving man and it will continue to be my honour to cherish all of my memories of this amazing man.
We missed you by our entire famly. May you rest in peace in Heaven..
