Obituary of Himatlal Monji RAIYARELLA

1941 – Kamuli, Uganda 2013 – Calgary, Alberta Himat Raiyarella, beloved husband of Bena of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Himat was born October 30, 1941 in Kamuli, Uganda. He graduated with a B.Sc. (Ag.) from Vidyanagar University in Anand, Gujarat, India. He married Bena in 1971 and immigrated to Canada shortly after. Himat was an entrepreneur and over the more recent years owned and operated Noor Restaurant and Anpurna Vegetarian Restaurant. Besides his loving wife Bena of forty-two years, Himat is survived by two loving daughters, Sapna (Sonia) and Dinta; three brothers, Rasikhbhai (Sharda), Subashbhai (Suryakala) and Praveshbhai (Maya); four sisters, Kantaben, Kanchanben, Kalaben and Smitaben; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Monjibhai and Diwaliben Raiyarella. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
