Condolences
So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Sadly I only have one memory of her and a conversation we had regarding my Grandmother Janet (her sister) shortly before my Grandmother’s passing. I fondly remember Christmas gatherings at “Auntie Anna’s” farm in Carstairs. I’m sure she was around many times but being a very young child I just don’t remember.
She was the sweetest lady offering me comfort at a hard time and I barely knew her. The world is a bit dimmer.
To Joyce, Roy, Ron, Judy and families,
So sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. Haven’t seen you for many years but never forgot your mom. She was the kindest and grandest Lady I ever met. Someone you will never forget. You were very fortunate to have her in your life for so long! We were out of town so could not make it to the funeral. Wishing all of you strength.

Dear Joyce & Bob, Roy & Bernice, Ron & Rose, Judy & Jack & your families,
I am sorry to hear of Auntie Mary’s passing. I have so many memories of your Mom – her great sense of humor, her laugh, the baking she would do, the card parties they used to host at their house (I got to come along with Mom & Dad) & I remember staying there a couple of times when I was younger (Don’t remember why, but it was overnight because I had to catch the bus the next morning). It is really special that you had your Mom for so many years and especially that you were able to celebrate the milestone of her 100th birthday! Since moving to the lodge, our Mom enjoyed her phone visits with Auntie Mary – she looked forward to those chats. Mom said she is going to really miss those phone call visits. Due to circumstances at my work that day, I am so sorry I cannot attend on the 21st for the service. We want to send each of you our sincere sympathy and know that we are thinking of you.
Love, Denise (Spreter) & Jim & family
I had a phone call from my Aunt Betty to tell me about your Mom’s passing yesterday, then I phoned Joyce and had a lovely chat. Just wanted to send my sincere condolences. Your Mom was a very special lady. I have so many fond memories of wonderful times out at the farm. Lots of friends will be thinking of you all.
Take care, Betty Ann
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother Ron, Rose and family. All the times I saw her she was a dream to be around, so very kind.

Roy, Ron, Joyce, Judy and families,
I know you will have many happy memories of your Mom. She always had a home made cookie or other pastry to offer us whenever Allen and I stopped by the farm doing our “chores”. I am thinking of you and am very sorry for your loss.
We were so sorry to hear about your Mother’s passing. What a truly wonderful mom and we were proud to call her Auntie. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Gary & I want you to know how bad we feel about the loss of your mother. We know she will be sadly missed by all of you, but you will have many wonderful memories. Your mom was the most wonderful woman I ever had the pleasure of knowing, and we loved having her out at the farm whenever she could make it. Our thoughts are with you.
