Obituary of Patricia Doreen Deana HUFF

April 1, 1931 – April 1, 2013 Deana passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 on her 82nd birthday, after a long and courageous battle with COPD. Deana grew up in Picture Butte, AB, attended the University of Alberta, graduating as a Registered Nurse in the class of September, 1954. Deana maintained contact with many of these classmates and over the years greatly enjoyed many reunions, dinners, and parties with them. Her greatest joys in life were her family, her many cherished friends, music, a good joke and a hearty laugh. She was an avid card player with a special love for bridge. She is greatly missed by all. Deana is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Roy, her children Terry (John Capizzi) of Greenwich, CT, Janice (Garry Hendel) of Toronto, ON, Valerie (Elaine Rushton) of Trail, BC, Patricia of Toronto, ON, and son David (Ellen Kitagawa) of Calgary, AB, her grandchildren, Alexander, Brendan, Siobhan, Christopher, Bryan, Kendra, Matthew and Jack, as well as a numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
