Condolences
To our cousins Melanie, Mary, Christopher and Lesley and all their families,
I so loved your mother and father. What a great gift all our uncles and aunts were to all of us. They seemed to me this great circle of laughter and love that surrounded us all. Your parents, my parents, Shirley and Jerry, Joan and Emmett, Betty and Don. It’s hard for me to think of one without thinking of them all. And losing a mother, my mother was always the first person I would phone with my stories as though they didn’t exist until I told them to her. I know Lesley (my little flower girl) that this will probably be the hardest on you. I also know Melanie, Mary and Christopher that it might hurt more than you thought it would. That losing that last beloved parent has a bit of an orphan quality about it no matter how old you are. My heart goes out to you all and to your precious families – as does Sandra’s and Glenn’s.
Your Eastern Family – the Leslie’s – your cousins Dianne, Sandra and Glenn
Les,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I know you were so close to her that you can’t imagine life without her. I pray that God will bring you comfort and grace at this time. She will always be with you as you remember her. I wish I could be there to give you one of my special hugs.
Love, Shell
Our condolences to you and your family Les. Your mom was an amazing woman and was so very strong, especially with everything over the last few years. Remember her strength and that will help you through this difficult time.
