Obituary of Allan CHRISTENSEN

January 15, 1932 – March 11, 2013 Al Christensen, beloved husband of Thelma Christensen of Calgary, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the age of 81 years. Al was born and raised in Calgary. Al’s main occupation was in sales, retiring from Vancouver Fancy Meats in 1992. He was a long time member of Inglewood Golf and Curling Club. Besides his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Al is survived by his children, Cathy Christensen (George), Glen and Carol Christensen, Terry and Dwayne Dychkowski and Brad and Lyann Christensen; eight grandchildren, Jamie (Curtis) Butcher, Ben Stoodley (Leah Hepner), Eric Christensen (fiancée Alyshia), Colin Christensen, Dane Dychkowski, Keira Dychkowski, Haley Christensen and Nevada Christensen; three great-grandchildren, Mason Butcher, Pruitt Butcher and William Stoodley. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Dick Schaeffer and Helen and Svend Nielsen and their families. Al was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Kay Christensen. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
