Obituary of Thomas Gregory MASON

May 5, 1924 – March 11, 2013 It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our husband, father and grandfather. Tom passed away peacefully in his 89th year with loved ones at his side. Tom will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Anne (nee Herman); five children, Greg (Sheila), Maureen, Neil, Karen Eidsness (Bryce) and Mark (Karen); six grandchildren, Neil (Cynthia) and Paul Mason, Bradley and Steven Eidsness, and Sarah and Michael Mason; as well as extended family. He was predeceased by his son, Douglas, and siblings Leon, Veronica Collins and Lucille Shopik. His legacy will live on in is his children, grandchildren and the creations made by his hands. Tom took joy in the outdoors, hiking, travelling, woodworking and big and small construction projects. Memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta. The funeral will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., at Canadian Martyrs Church, (835 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary)
