Obituary of David Hugh PLANCHE

June 23, 1954 – March 10, 2013 It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the best husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend. Dave lived more in his fifty-eight years than most people do in a lifetime. His witty sense of humour was contagious and he loved to laugh and tease ‘The Poor Jean’. “Poor Jean, she never had a chance”. Dave lived for his family, his wife and his girls. His kind heart and generous spirit was always appreciated and will be missed by his family and his many close and long-time friends. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife of 33 years Jeannie, daughters Alison and Joey, father Hugh and his wife Sylvia and brothers Don and Bruce. Also close to his heart were Jeannie’s father Army MacCrimmon (passed in 2010), Dave’s mother-in-law Connie, sister-in-law Cathy and her husband Glen, brother-in-law John and his wife Lisa, nieces Lauren and Megan and nephews Bob and Jason. Dave was predeceased by his mother Betty Planche in 1993. A private family service was held on Thursday March 14, 2013. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at Elbow Springs Golf Course (240086 Lott Creek Drive Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
