Obituary of Brent Allen REID

March 6, 1961 – March 1, 2013 Brent Allen Reid of Cochrane, Alberta passed away at the age of 51 following a courageous battle with cancer on March 1, 2013. Born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on March 6, 1961 to Wray and Caroline Reid. Brent was predeceased by his father Wray Reid in 1971. Brent is lovingly remembered by his soul mate and best friend Sherry; three sons, Kelly (Brooke), Brady (Brianna) and Tyler; step daughter Kristina (Oliver) and his mother Caroline; sister Jamie (David) and granddaughters Delaney and Finley. Brent started his profession in flooring at an early age and was well known throughout the industry for his meticulous skills and work ethic. Brent showed great pride in his work and went above and beyond to ensure his customers satisfaction. Another passion of Brent’s was his love of cooking which was shown by his creativity in the kitchen and his large spice cabinet! Brent’s kind and gentle character will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bow Valley Baptist Church located at 54 West Aarsby Road, Cochrane, Alberta with Kelly Reid officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cochrane Boys and Girls Club or the Cochrane Right to Play.
