I am truly sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers go out to the entire Gladstone family. I will always remember Brian as one of the kindest people I have ever known. His sense of humor and generosity will be forever missed. The memories and good times that we had together will always hold a special place in my heart and although he may be gone, he won’t be forgotten.
I feel a sense of shock with the news of Brian departing this world much too soon. I do know that Brian leaves behind a wealth of beautiful, thoughtful, loving people and I think that speaks volumes about his character. His loss hits deep in my memories of him and his incredible family. I grew up with Brian, over a Calgary-Edmonton distance, but still a rich family-friend relationship. I will always remember Brian as a warm, funny, kind and inviting soul. I think my clearest memory of him was in his family home where Brenda was baby sitting the 3 of us, Brian, my brother Kyle and I. Brenda had baked some cookies and left some at the foot of the stairs on a table. Brian proceeded to distract Brenda while we sneakily took some cookies back upstairs, it was a good laugh for us all. I also remember so many wonderful warm, bright days spent with Brian and his family including time spent at their family cabin. Brian’s smile lit up any room and I feel so blessed to have known him. I send so much love to his family and friends right now. My heart hurts for his wonderful family, I’m here for you in any capacity you might need. Brian will live on in each of us, I am sure of that.
Hugs, kisses and love.
Roger and Laurel
I am absolutely heartbroken for you and the extended family as Brian was so deeply loved by all of you. My family has your family in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.
Love

We are heartbroken. Brian was woven into the fabric of our family through the close friendship he had with Aaron. Brian was always so kind with an infectious smile that made any day brighter. The narrative is about Brian now, but Laurel, Roger and Brenda it is also about you . . . . it was your influences that helped Brian develop the strength and character of someone very special. We are thinking of you . . .
Dear Laurel. Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. Times like this the world does not make any sense. I pray that the Lord will give all of Brian’s family and friends the strength they need to endure this painful loss. My thoughts and prayers are forever with you and your family.
Dear Laurel and Roger,

May you find strength and comfort in your treasured memories of Brian and your precious family time together.

I am so terribly sorry for your family’s loss. He was such an amazing soul.
Brian was one of the only guys in high school who ever went out of his way to make me feel like one of the “cool kids”. They were small gestures and I’m sure he wouldn’t remember any of them (or even me for that matter), but man, I promise you, his kindness had an impact on me.
He was a good dude.
My condolences.
Roger, Laurel and family…. I feel deeply saddened for your loss…all I can do is extend love and send healing thoughts your way to help ease the pain..
with love and affection, Caitlin Bryans

Dear Laurel, Roger, Brenda and Granny. It is with a heavy heart that I offer my deepest condolences. Brian and I were best of friends since we were little. Whether we were skateboarding, golfing, swimming or snowboarding a lot of my favorite memories involve paling around with Brian. He was a great friend and always hilarious with his sharp sense of humour. The Gladstone household was always filled with laughter and joy and I loved being around Brian and your family. I have many fond memories of Brian and I am proud to be able to call myself his friend. He will be forever missed.
Your tribute to Brian is beautiful.
We send our deepest condolences to your family from ours. We hope all the love surrounding you from near and far helps ease this difficult time.

Hi Laurel,
I am so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. I can’t imagine how you’re feeling – please just know that I’m thinking about you and your family. Take care and God bless, John
Brian and I have known each other since we were 9 years old. Even as a small boy he was the funniest guy in the room. Raising his one eyebrow during the punchline. Growing up your family has always been so kind to me along with several other kids from the neighborhood. Your house was the house to go to and visit. Every visitor could feel the heart and happiness in your household… Brian was an amazing soul… His variety of facial expressions could always get me to laugh… I’m so sorry for your loss and leave my deepest condolences. When I think of Brian I’ll think of the entire Gladstone family because I know that you all were so close knit… My memories of him; are working on the family Topaz, “souping” it up & putting a state of the art stereo system in it, playing countless hours of Tony Hawk and most of all sharing many laughs with Brian, Laurel, Roger and Brenda. All of you are such warm and inviting people. Brian Gladstone was truly special and came from a special family.
Matthew Der.
It is with great sadness that we send our love & strength to our friends Roger & Laurel, to their daughter Brenda & husband Mark, their grandchildren Avery & Spencer, Granny Sheila and their many family members and friends. Brian you were so very loved and cherished …. we will miss you beyond words. We watched you grow up from a baby to the young man that you became. You were caring & kind, you made us laugh & smile, we will miss that and will share the memories with your family. You loved your family & friends with all your heart, your life was precious and you were taken from us all far to soon. We will hold you and your family closely in our hearts. Brian thank you for the memories…. may you rest in peace, no pain, no sorrow. Alfred, Kim, Kyle (Samantha), Nina (Tyler), Edmonton, Alberta

Brian has had a place in my life and heart since I was a young girl. We had a connection that we both were so grateful to have. We were each others support, cheerleaders, and could always make one another laugh. Time would pass and we would connect again and pick up right where we left off. We were always connected no matter time or distance. He has always felt like family to me and I can say I am truly a better person and the person I am today because of Brian. He had a massively loving and positive impact on my life. How blessed are we all to know such a man. My prayers are with his family and loved ones. May we all honour him by striving to be as loving, kind, and generous as he was. I will love you forever sweet Soul.
To the most beautiful, supportive, loving , giving family I have ever met….the loss of Brian will be felt by many.
We are so saddened to hear this news and our love, thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest condolences for your loss. I only recently meet Brian and he left an impression of a caring witty fine young man. He joined us on a hike with Angelica’s family and we had a wonderful day hiking up to the Johnson canyon falls and ink pots. While hiking we chatted and he shared stories of his life and he conveyed a closeness and love of his family. I am truly saddened by his loss. I shared my pictures of that day with Angelica so I hope she’ll be able to share them with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
