Condolences
HEARTFELT THANKS from Ron’s family for your outpouring support, prayers and hugs throughout Ron’s journey. You have given us strength to carry forward, as he would want us to do.
Also, the tremendous support we all received from family and friends from afar who helped us all through these hard times.
The “Celebration of Life” for Ron was so memorable, and mainly due to the many friends, fellow Mounties and family who were able to attend.
Many thanks to all.
Marion, Howard & Dian, Sharon, Val & Bill

We are deeply saddened by your loss and offer our heartfelt condolences to the entire McIntyre family and their loved ones. Ron will be sadly missed but remembered always.
Dear Mrs McIntyre, Howard, Sharon & Valerie,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the sad news about your husband and dad. I was fortunate to meet him and carry with me many fond memories of him from my many visits to Calgary. His jokes, warmth and strength cannot be forgotten. I vividly recall his enthusiastic participation during Sharon’s garage sale, doing chores around the house, siting the dogs and several visits to Val’s favorite restaurants. Sharon and Val both spoke so fondly of him. He was blessed to have you all devote your full attention to care for him and surround him with so much love in his final moments. I admire you greatly for that. While my heart is heavy and your loss is deeply felt, I take solace in the fact that, he has now gone to rest. May wonderful memories of his years with you flood your heart with joy, love and laughter. May the comfort that Only God Almighty can bring, carry you through your trying moments. May you dwell in the love Jesus has for you and may He fill yours and your family’s hearts with peace always. May your loving husband and devoted dad’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Dear Marion,
Christel and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of Ron.
Yours sincerely, George Lloyd

Marion and family, We are sorry to hear about Ron passing but his last month’s were tough. He would always tell about him playing cupid when I met Elaine in Kelowna. That will be 54 years ago this coming fall. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
Andy and Elaine
Please accept our sympathy on the occasion of Ron’s untimely passing. As we were barracked alphabetically during our seven months of training we were never far apart through the trials and tribulations of adjusting to a regimented way of life and figuring out what the Force was all about. Ron always had the ability to detect a ray of humour in any situation regardless of how dire it might have seemed in our young lives. It served us all well.
Sincere condolences, Ken and Chris McEwen
My sincere sympathy to you, Sharon, and all of you in the family of such an accomplished and courageous Dad and husband. I am thinking of you in this time of great loss and wishing you all comfort in the support of your family and friends.
Marilyn
Marion our deepest condolences to you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Dear Marion and family,
We send you and your family our sincere heartfelt thoughts in the loss of your loved one, Ron. He is free of living in silence and now you, Marion can return to a life without the every day stress with coping with this unforgivable disease. You did this with grace and much concern.
Stay strong, Glenna and Peter
Dear Marion and family,
What an interesting and accomplished life Ron lived! He will be sorely missed by you and the kids. My sincerest condolences to you all.
Affectionately, Trudy
I had the good fortune and pleasure of being able to serve with Ron for the planning phase and the implementation of security for the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. The complexities of planning for such a massive event, following on the heels of the 1972 massacre at the Munich Olympics, gave rise to many issues and anxious moments but Ron could always be depended upon to have new ideas and a positive attitude to finding solutions. Ron always took his responsibility seriously and was a credit to the Force, at all times an officer and a gentleman. Lorraine and I send our most sincere condolences to you Marion and all your family.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Our thoughts are with you at this time and will always remember Ron’s smile and laughter. Thinking of you, Karen and Gary
