Dear Donny, Cathie, David and families,
Our love and thoughts are with all of you. We have so many happy memories of dear cousin Sybil – when visiting us here in Scotland (the home of the “Curlie Coos” ) – our happy time in Australia — and of course, our wonderful visits to see you all in Canada. Sybil will be treasured in our hearts. All here from across ‘the pond’ join with you in the celebration of Sybil’s Life.

Hello Don, I have just read the obituary for Sybil today. Deep sympathy for you and your family. As my dad is going through this as well. Sybil had been through a lot. It is very difficult to cope with. It was always very nice to visit with the two of you in the Bow Crest garden.

Life will not be the same without our auntie Sybil’s quirky sense of humor which we all absolutely loved. I’ll never forget the day when Uncle Don, Auntie Sybil, sister Laura and I went to Sea World in San Diego – what a great time. Especially singing and bouncing around in the car to all the INXS songs on the radio – that is when she shared that she absolutely loved the group INXS! And let’s not even get started on our shopping trips to Drug Emporium – what fun! Her great smile and laughter will always be in our memories. You picked a good one Uncle Don! Somewhere up there Auntie Sybil is still making someone smile. Love Trish and Eric
Dear Don, Cathie, David and family, my love and thoughts are with all of you. You know how much I loved Sybil and valued all the years we knew each other. From the first days when we became “best friends” to the day when she married my brother and truly became part of our family – I cherish all our wonderful memories. Love, Eileen
I am so sorry to hear of Sybil’s passing and my sincere condolences to you, Don, and your family. Such great Robbie Burns dinners we all shared! Marge Watson
Auntie Sybil was always my favorite shopping buddy. She was so special to me even though I didn’t see her that often. Every time I think of her I have to smile. She will be forever remembered as a unique and amazing lady. She is finally at peace and is now making the angels smile. May you all find comfort in that. Love, Laura
