Obituary of William Billy Donald Kenneth TALBOT
June 22, 1989 – January 11, 2013
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Billy Talbot on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary at the tender age of 23.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Billy will remember him as a fun-loving young man with an incredible amount of patience and tolerance. He loved music, and all electronic gadgets. Billy loved being with people and going on adventures. His beautiful thick red hair and long eyelashes regularly captured the attention of the girls. Always a fighter, Billy never gave up when it came to hospital visits and procedures.
Billy was loved by all of his caregivers, especially Carolina Monedero, who lived with Billy and loved him as a son. Ronaldo Rodriguez was Billy’s daytime caregiver, and buddy, whose gentle and loving ways endeared him to Billy’s heart. So many other wonderful caregivers all played a significant part in Billy’s journey on earth. Now that journey has ended, but his spirit will live in all of us forever. Billy taught everyone who knew him to “never give up”.
Billy is survived by his parents Donna (Ruecker) Talbot and Don Talbot; beautiful sister Kelley Talbot; grandfather Alfred Ruecker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Dorothy and William Talbot, and Hilde Ruecker; his uncle Darryl Ruecker; and his cousin Jason Froshaug.
