John sounded like a million dollars in our conversation on Dec 17/12–just as he did at the opening of the Chapleau World’s Fair in 1939–and on so many other happy occasions since. It is difficult to accept that this year will be different.

We were sorry to read of Johns death. We treasure our memories of the fun times we spent with him and Judy when they lived on Lake Louise Way.

I am so saddened to learn of John’s passing. Judy, you know how much I enjoyed resurrecting old memories and old times with you and with John these past years at Maureen’s. John had the gift of never feeling pessimistic or of showing uncertainty, but always he was positive,engaging and thoughtful .
