Obituary of Nicole Ashley HOLLOWAY

April 16, 1987 – December 30, 2012 Nicole (Ziggy) Ashley Holloway was born in Canmore, Alberta on April 16, 1987. Ziggy was called home suddenly by the creator on December 30, 2012. She attended school in Canmore and participated in numerous sports such as: volleyball, basketball and hockey. The one thing she really enjoyed doing was dancing in powwow’s as a fancy dancer and then she went to jingle dress dancing. She really enjoyed the sport of rodeo where she was a part of the Holloway ‘n’ Sons Rodeo Company and she enjoyed keeping time during the rodeos. She really loved travelling with the family rodeo company to numerous rodeos and every year she looked forward to the family rodeo in the June Father’s Day Classic. She will be sadly missed by her two loving children: daughter, Chanel Holloway and son, Zayden Holloway. Parents; Homer and Sheila Holloway. Brothers; Graham, Todd (Tia), Butch (Tyleena) and Wilburn (Tracey) Bearspaw. Sister Josephine (Clyde). Adopted brothers; Bart Holloway, Tawny Holloway, Teddy Holloway, Marty Black Rabbit, Torrin Kaquitts, and Keenan Crane. Adopted sisters; Oolayu Bailey, Leah Twoyoungmen, and numerous relatives from Morley, Hobbema, Paul Band, Brocket, Siksika, Tsuu Tina and Kainai. She was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Nicole Holloway on Thursday January 3 and Friday January 4, 2013. Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Morley Gym on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00a.m. Graveside Service to follow at private family cemetery (Morley, AB).
