Condolences

I knew Jeff as a warrior; an incredible friend, with great insight and wisdom. I fondly recall each discussion we’d share – about society, how to reconcile the injustices in our world and the lives we both equally shared with the bittersweet illness of Bipolar I Disorder. He elevated me to be a better person. I celebrate Jeff’s achievements and his enduring strength. I mourn his passing and rejoice in knowing a man of such greatness. We are all blessed to be touched by Jeff.

I so fondly remember working with Jeff when he attended Vincent Massey – he was so sweet and kind – always such a pleasure to be around. I know he will be missed by many but will remain in our memories forever. Those we love never leave our heart. Love and sympathy to Suzanne and Chris
Thank you all for your kind words and condolences, and thank you so much for the memories of Jeff that you have shared.
Suzanne, Chris and extended family and community members,
My heart goes out to you, especially you Suzanne, as we have pained and pondered these strains together on our dog walks together this last year. Death comes like a thief in the night and we must stand. Let the light of grace that comes through the trees dapple our brow and spirit and lift us each day for the question that can shadow us. We are here now, home and our door is always open to walk talk and pray or a slow ski on a balmy day.
Love you Barb
From all the sporting events that Adam and Jeff shared, to the sleepovers and fun times the boys had, we will remember fondly the humour and laughter that was shared. We recall the untimely passing of your husband and grieve with you during the loss of your son and brother to Chris. As a mother and caregiver I know you and Chris will cherish your fondest memories. Adam and I wish the following for both of you:
We think about you always,
we talk about you still,
you have never been forgotten,
and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
and there you will remain,
to walk with us throughout our lives
until we meet again.
Suzanne, our paths haven’t crossed for years, but I am so saddened to hear of your loss. There are no words to express how sorry I am to hear you have lost your son. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.
Sending you love and support at this most difficult time. I taught Jeff at Massey and at Manning and was on the ODL trips with him. I have great memories of him on the back country trips where there was loads of laughter, adventure and incredible group support. I am out of town so I will not be able to attend the celebration of Jeff’s life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Suzanne and Christopher,
It has been many years since our days of orienteering together. Joan and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to both of you and to your extended family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today.

Jeff has always been a dearly loved member of our family. His thoughtfulness will be sadly missed. I will remember him as a young boy holding hands with his father, Micheal, and a young man trying to understand his world. Our hearts are filled with sadness for Suzanne and Chris.
Jeff will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
I’m saddened to hear about the loss of a former student of Ernest Manning. As I am currently out of the country, my sincere apologies for being unable to attend the service.
My deepest sympathies.

Dear Suzanne and Christopher,
We are shocked and saddened to hear about Jeff’s passing. It seemed like only yesterday that I watched Jeff and Chris playing with their father in the backyard. Our deepest sympathies.
So sorry for the loss of Jeff. One of the most athletic people i knew in high school and a good guy to crack jokes with. We had some good times, haha, and although its a little bit of an inside joke i know he would laugh at the name “Wyatt Paul”. God speed big guy. R.I.P.

Dear Suzanne and Christopher,
Suzanne, we hope you remember our names from your orienteering days all those years ago. I was shocked to see the notice about Jeff while scanning the paper at the car place today, totally by chance. Jim and I just want to say that our hearts go out to you, Chris, and all of your family at this terrible time. We can’t imagine the depth of your sadness but know that somehow you will get through this. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you. Susan Ridley and Jim Clay

We are saddened hearing of the passing of Jeff. We share Your grief. Our prayers and condolence go out to all the family. Jerome and Anne Sopczak
I am incredibly sorry for the loss of Jeff. I went to school with him through junior high and high school and we would always joke around in boring classes and during football. There isn’t one memory I have of him where he isn’t smiling, he’ll always be remembered dearly.
I had the chance to know Jeff, I played football with him at manning and watched him chase down running backs and sack quarter backs. Jeff was always good for a laugh on ODL trips. I’m glad I had the chance to know Jeff and will miss him. Rest in peace Jeff.
