Obituary of Donna Marie LOUGH

April 16, 1937 – November 25, 2012 Donna Marie Lough passed away at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Donna was born in Moosomin, SK on April 16, 1937. She graduated from high school in 1955 and immediately went on to Teacher’s College. After teaching for a number of years, Donna and her husband moved to Meadow Lake, SK where they began many years of self-employment. In 1976, Donna and her family moved to Richmond, BC and in 1980 they began a new adventure in Calgary, AB. In 1990, Donna and Terry settled into their retirement home in Scotch Creek, BC where she remained until her passing. Donna enjoyed a very busy life filled with work, her family and friends. She took pride in being a gracious hostess and she loved to sew and to cook. Her kitchen was her favourite room of the home. Donna is lovingly remembered by her son Monty (Jessica) of Kelowna, BC and daughter Tracy (James) of De Winton, AB. She is sadly missed by her grandchildren, Alexa (Kelly), Megan, Jacqueline, Ryan, Zoe and Zarra. She was predeceased by her father Percy Boyles; mother Elizabeth “Bessie” Boyles (nee Ramsdale); loving husband Terry Lough; and sister Doreen Rookes.
