Obituary of Isabella RICHARDS

August 10, 1925 – October 24, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Isabella Richards of Calgary announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Isabella was born in Coleman, Alberta. She was married to the love of her life Herb for sixty-seven years. They moved to Calgary in 1951 and lived here until her passing. Her greatest love was her family. She was so happy when family visited their home. Who could forget her Sunday roast beef dinners? Many of her family stayed with her over the years and were always made to feel at home. In her earlier years, she was one of the top five pin bowlers in the City, being in the Master’s league which she was very proud of. As time went on, her interests changed and she became a very avid bingo player, playing at all the bingo halls around the City. She then got into going to the local casinos as well as making yearly jaunts with her sisters to Las Vegas and Reno. Isabella leaves behind her children Ross (Dianne) and Janiece; grandchildren, Nanette, Suzette, Scott (Corie), Kimberly (Shaun) and Jon; great-grandchildren, Michael, Daylen, Destin, Chase and Aidan; sister-in-laws Gladys and Lillian; brother-in-law Joe Markovich; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Herb in 2010; son Daniel; daughter Judith; sisters Grace, Doreen and Jessie and her brothers John and Bill. A Private Family Service will be held.
