Condolences
Joni, Dave, Michael and Christopher,
We are truly sorry for the loss of your mom and grandma. She was a very special lady and will be greatly missed. She was so kind and giving and such a fun-loving person. I fondly also remember her from our long days and nights getting the playschool building started. I had the pleasure of spending a lot of fun times with her; holding a paint brush and having many great conversations and laughs together. I know you will also have so many cherished memories with her and I feel blessed to have known her.
So sorry to hear about Mary. She was a great neighbour to our mom and dad. Out thoughts are with you.

So sorry to hear of your Mom’s/Grandma’s passing. I will remember her being a kind and friendly hockey fan at the arena. I enjoyed talking to Marie many times there about hockey and all that goes with it. She always had a common sense approach about it and was a huge support for the Christopher and Michael. My son Dylan remembers Marie cheering everyone on as well. Always so positive. I and everyone else that knew her through the arena will miss her alot. Thinking of you all. Christine Brassard
Dear Mc NEally family! Joni, MIchael, CHristopher.
It’s with sadness we heard of the passing of your Mom, Grandma. Marie leaves behind, for so many, wonderfull memories. She was very dedicated to whatever good causes she engaged herself in and those were many. Her wisdom and pleasant ways will newer be forgotten. It was a priviledge to work with your grandma, Michael and Christopher during the years you were in playschool. She gave so freely her wisdom and her time. She was loved by so many. Our condolences and deepest sympathy to you all.
Clara and Jens lehmann.
Joni & Family
My sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom and grandmother. I had the pleasure of getting to know Marie when Michael & Logan were in playschool and we were always scheduled for helpers on the same day. Throughout the years, when our paths crossed, she was always so cheerful and kind hearted. My thoughts & prayers are with your family.
Joni and Family,
We were all saddened to hear of the passing of Marie or Grandma Marie as the kids knew her. She was an amazing woman who has left behind many memories in everything she did and with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
Dear Joni, Dave, Michael, and Christopher,
Our sincere condolences on Marie’s passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
To the family of Marie,
I am saddened to read in the Strathmore Times of the passing of your dear Mother Marie, Grandmother and friend to many. I worked with Marie for a time at the Calgary Correctional Centre in the ’90s and remember her warm and beautiful smile. She was a very dedicated part of the Programs Team. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Joni and your family, so sorry for your loss, thinking of you at this difficult time.
Joni and boys: Marie was an absolutely wonderful lady, although I am not telling you something you don’t know. She took Raeanne under her wing in kindergarten and treated her so special. The Red Green show always makes me think of Marie as Chris and Rae watched it everyday while Grandma Marie made lunch for the two of them. Our prayers are with you all.
Joni and Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Marie. She was such a lovely and kind person. You are all in our prayers.

Sending the McNeely family our deepest thoughts and prayers. My family had the opportunity to get to know Marie more closely through the Roots of Empathy program. She had such a warm presence, she made us all feel like we were a part of her family. May you take comfort in knowing how many lives she touched.

Greg, Dave, Joni, Gord and family,
I have thought of all of you so often in the past months, and most especially, of Auntie Marie. I wish I could say something clever or wise to diminish your sadness but I fear no such words exist. Auntie Marie, like Grandpa, was a truly special person. She lived well and full and always impressed me with her quiet strength, bountiful compassion and uncompromising conviction. I see in her kids and grand kids one of the most remarkably kind and thoughtful group of people I have ever known. I can think of no more valuable legacy than that. Sending you all much love.
