Obituary of Elizabeth Joy JARDINE

April 16, 1963 – September 18, 2012 It is with great sorrow the family of Elizabeth Joy Jardine announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Elizabeth in her home in Vanderhoof, B.C. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the age of 49 years. Elizabeth spent her childhood growing up in Montreal and as a young adult moved west to Calgary in 1994. Her love of horses and all living creatures prevailed through her entire life; she had a very special and rare bond with horses. In 2007, with her faithful dog Jasper, her three horses and her parrot Suvuka she moved to Vanderhoof, B.C.; she was truly at peace there. Elizabeth was also an avid reader with a great wit and sense of humour that will be greatly missed. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, James and Isobel Jardine. Forever cherishing her memory is the light of her life, her son Richard; her two sisters Janet and Jennifer (Brad) and brother James (Inez); as well numerous nieces and nephews and several other relatives. Many lives have been touched with her love and kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Elizabeth’s memory may be made directly to the Daisy Foundation; www.daisyfoundation.ca.
