Obituary of John William

October 4, 1940 – September 7, 2012 John died peacefully in his sleep on September 7, 2012. John was born in Olds, Alberta and grew up on the farm at Eagle Hill. He graduated from U of A Mechanical Engineering, 1963. He worked initially at Rangeland Pipeline, and continued his career in pipeline construction working mostly as a consultant. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan, children, Susan (Richard), Joanne (James) and Eric (Lara), six grandchildren, siblings Eric, Carl, Michael, Mary Ann and their families. John was predeceased by a brother, Chris and parents, Hans and Anna. A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Danish Canadian Club (727 – 11 Avenue SW Calgary) on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – dress: casual.
