Condolences
My deepest condolences to Bernice's family and friends.
Sorry to here of the loss of your Mother. She was always there with a smile and we always enjoyed visiting with her when she was watching her grandchildren play hockey. May your many good memories keep her in your hearts.

Thinking of you at this sad time. My deepest sympathy to all of you and your families. Such fond memories of all the times Bernice put up with me and all the extra kids she looked out for. Her example of care, humor and living life well is a gift to us all. I know you will hold her dear to your heart and hope the cherished memories will give you comfort now and always.

One of my favourite people in Beiseker. Bernice was such a nice person and had a great sense of humour! I remember staying at the Verbeek house on numerous occasions and John and Bernice always put up with our craziness. I have so many great memories of the good times that we had! Bernice will be missed by her family and myself as well! RIP Bernice! Another angel gets her wings!!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
May the fond memories of your Mom/Nana help you in the days ahead.
Love

We always felt we had a bit of a bond with Bernice as we live in the house she used to live in. We remember the day we had her over and she was so thrilled with our renovations and it brought back good memories for her. All of us girls at the bank always looked forward to when Bernice came in and we would talk her ear off!, she was always so easy to talk to. Always had a smile on her face, and she was the best cook! We will miss her baking (kouchen) that she always brought in at Christmas!! She was a great lady and will be most sorely missed! Our sympathies to the family!
I remember visiting Auntie Bernice and Uncle Johnny’s farm in Beiseker when I was a kid. Uncle Johnny helped me slide open the barn door as I was too small to do it. I stayed in there for a long time with a whole bunch of barn cats and loved it. Auntie Bernice was a fabulous baker and cook, and her house was always warm and comfortable. I have a recipe in my collection of her Christmas shortbread cookies with the hidden cherry in the middle. I’ll be sure to make them this Christmas.
Rest In Peace Auntie Bernice ❤️
Our Deepest Sympathy to all of Bernice’s Families. She always had a smile. Cherish your memories.
I will always remember Auntie Bernice -trips out to the farm growing up. She was the most amazing sweet sweet woman. To this day I have the recipe for those cookies she used to make at Christmas with the red and green cherries in them. Marked “Auntie Bernices’ Christmas cookies”. Mine never turn out as good as hers -hers had way more love in them I think! I am grateful to have had her as my aunt. ❤️
