Obituary of Fariborz AGAHZADEH-KESHEH
September 21, 1965 – Tehran, Iran
October 3, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta
Fariborz passed away peacefully, at home, in the arms of his loving family in Calgary, Alberta, on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the age of 52 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Sara Agahzadeh (nee Ghorbanpour); and son, Afsheen and daughter Afsaneh.
Fariborz ascended this realm and has entered the Abha Kingdom, after courage’s battle with cancer. He was a kind-spirited individual who put the needs of others before his own; a man whose smile lit up every room he was present in, and a man who is truly irreplaceable in character and spirit. He was a kind and compassionate husband, son, father, brother, and friend to many. He will be missed tremendously and will always be remembered for his integrity, common sense, love, and independence.
Fariborz was born on September 21, 1965 in Tehran, Iran to Layegheh and Assadullah Agahzadeh-Kesheh. He made the life-changing journey from Iran to Pakistan in 1984 where he resided for a year before migrating to Canada. He settled in Cranbrook, British Columbia for the next three years. His free-spirited outlook on life led him to Calgary in 1988, where he stayed with his sister Farahnaz and his life-long friend Fariborz Peyman.
Fariborz met the love of his life, Sara Ghorbanpour, at the Baha’i Centre in Calgary in 1991. They tied their love together with the blessings of their families and the joy of friends and became husband and wife in 1992. Their first child Afsheen was born on December 21, 2000, and less than a year later, their second child Afsaneh was born on November 20, 2001.
Fariborz worked at Steeplejack where he found the inspiration and passion for his profession and developed his skills prior to establishing his company in 2005. He was equally passionate about his company, his family, and his love for motorsports. His passion for motorsports would often take him on road trips to British Columbia; while driving he listened to Persian music, specifically his favorite, Hamsafar by GooGoosh.
Fariboz is also survived by his mother Layegheh of Iran; brother and sister-in-law Farhamand and Froozan of Los Angeles, CA; sisters and brothers-in-law Farahnaz and Samy Karimian of Calgary, and Neda and Shaheen of Iran. He was predeceased by his father Assadullah Agahzadeh-Kesheh in 2015.
