Obituary of William Vincent HOOD

December 29, 1923 – July 2, 2012 Bill Hood, beloved husband of Marie Hood of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Monday, July2, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Bill was born in North Sydney, NS. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for twenty-five years, which included World War II and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Centennial (Branch 285). He was very active, walking and swimming, until the last week of his life. Besides his loving wife of sixty-five years, Bill is survived by his daughter Hebina Hood. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
