Obituary of Emilio PEDICINO

December 19, 1927 – June 27, 2012 Emilio Pedicino, beloved husband of Francesca Pedicino, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Emilio was born in San Giuliano del Sannio, Molise, Italy and was the youngest of six children. He married his loving wife on March 20, 1949. At a very young age he was a caregiver to his parents and was responsible for the family farm. In 1966, Emilio and Francesca immigrated to Canada with their three children to begin a new life. Emilio worked for CP Rail and retired in 1986. Emilio was a true family man who enjoyed gardening and making superb wine. Emilio is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Francesca; daughters Lina (Emilio) Gallotta and Rosa Maria (Mario) D’Aversa; son Frank (Frances) Pedicino; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
