Obituary of Jacqueline WALKER

January 21, 1955 – June 19, 2012 Jacqueline Walker passed away peacefully but unexpected on June 19, 2012 at Foothills Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 57 years. Born in Edmonton, Jacqueline was always a shining star in the eyes of her immediate and extended family in Calgary, Drumheller, Edmonton and Vancouver. Jacqueline attended St Michael the Archangel and St Mary’s Girls School in Calgary and later attended SAIT where she excelled in things mathematical. She loved theatre, a good book and movies with smart dialogue, a twisting plot and bigger than life characters. Independent, self-determined and confident she had an appetite for life and touched the lives of many people. No one was quicker to offer help, to pick up the phone for a chat, to organize a lunch or to take a sick friend to the clinic. Her generosity and spirit will be missed by all that knew her. Jacquie will be missed by her loving parents Gerry and Maureen DeSorcy, her two brothers, Leo and John (Lonnie) and her beloved nephew Marc and niece Kasia. A Celebration of Jacquie’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
