Obituary of Joseph DEIGNER

August 17, 1933 – June 7, 2012 Joseph (Joe)Deigner beloved husband of Anna of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the age of 78 years. Joe was born on August 17, 1933 in Budapest, Hungary. He immigrated to Canada in 1959 along with his wife Anna, sister Georgina and her husband Steve Bodnar, settling in Calgary, AB. Later he moved to De Winton where he pursued his love of horses. After moving back to Calgary, Joe continued his passion for horses, frequently attending Spruce Meadows, becoming well-known with the regulars there. Joe also attended local chuck wagon races and rodeos. Besides his loving wife Anna, Joe is survived by two children; as well as grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew; and by his sister Georgina. A Private Family Service will be held.
