KOLONIC, Duro George April 15, 1941 – June 3, 2012 With great sadness the family of Duro Kolonic, beloved husband of Marija of Calgary, announce his passing on June 3, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Duro immigrated to Calgary in 1970. Duro is survived by his loving wife Marija, daughter and son-in-law Jadranka and Walter Nacinovic, son George Kolonic and grandchildren, Sabrina, Taylor and Ashleigh. He is also survived by his nephews, Ivan (Danette), Mike (Mary), and brother-in-law Misko Djurkin, sister and brother-in-law Katica and Vinko Jasenovic and their family. Duro was predeceased by his sister Marija Djurkin and brother Josep. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at OUR LADY OF MARIJA BISTRICA CROATIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (14680 Deer Ridge Drive S.E.) on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Church (14680 Deer Ridge Drive S.E.) on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
