Condolences
Darlene, I was heartbroken to hear this news! The world has lost a great soul and I cannot believe this has happened. My deepest condolences and hugs to you and your family. Love, Anar
Hello Darlene and family,
I was doing a search of family on the internet and came across an obit for Donald Dodds who is my first cousin. My maiden name was Jan McIntyre. The only memory I have of my Saskatchewan family is at my grandparent’s home. Donald and I took our grandfather’s car for a ride at age 4. It had an automatic starter and one of us steered the car and other (I believe Donald) operated the gears and clutch. We ended up driving it into the bog. I am so sorry for your loss and Donald looks like he was a well respected man with lots of friends.
All my very best, Jan Johnstone
Darlene,
Although I didn’t know Don, I know he was a fine man. During this time, be comforted in knowing that those who share in your sadness do so because you’ve touched our lives. Don will live in the hearts of many.
Darlene and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss; my thoughts are with you during this time of sadness.
Sincerely,
Linda Martin
Dear family,
So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. We both used to be in early at the office and race each other to see who could turn on the coffee machine first. He talked so lovingly about all of you, his cars and was always looking forward to his next vacation. He’ll be deeply missed.
I was so sad to learn of Don’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences. Don & I had many conversations about running and he gave me great advice when he said “in this life, always run your own race – that’s what i’m going to do” when speaking of his marathon training. I think that was also probably a metaphor for how he lived his life, with quiet determination and a passion for excellence. I will miss him.
Darlene I am sad to hear of Don’s passing. Sending you and your family love and prayers.
Love Mary
My deepest sympathies. Thinking of you and your family during this time.
Darlene, Scott and Ally,
I was shocked and so sad to hear about Don. I’m so sorry for your loss. Don was my mentor for the first year I worked in the Yemen team and he was wonderful to work with. He taught me so much and was always willing to share his knowledge and take the time to help. I will miss him.
Dear Dodds Family,
Words cannot express to you how sorry Alex and I are for your loss. We are both incredibly saddened to know that somebody who was an incredible inspiration, source of comfort, and who was so unbelievably good in spirit has departed from our lives.
Life is finite, but the impact of one’s life is infinite. The incredible vastitude of the positive impact which Mr. Dodds shared with the world is permanent–we are blessed to have known him and will forever carry those times with us in our hearts.
Darlene, Scott, and Ally, we love you very much and we are here for you for whatever you may need. Please know how much we care for all of you and do not ever hesitate to ask.
With our deepest condolences and all of our love,
Alex and Mel

We have such pleasant memories of Mr. and Mrs. Dodds, our neighbours for a few years. Wonderful people. Our sincere condolences to the family with Donald’s too early departure.
I feel so low right now, Dar, I can only imagine that it pales compared to how you’re feeling. He was a fantastic person and I truly enjoyed his friendship. He inspired me to be a better person and I will always remember him as a positive and supportive guy! Take care of yourself and your family and if there’s anything I can do to help out, please ask. *HUGS!*
