Mrs. Potter and family. I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Potter’s passing. As a new member of the Force in 1971, he was then Director of CPIC, and made me feel so welcome. I will always remember his very personable and pleasant manner. Rest in Peace, Sir.
To Al’s family,
I was sorry to read about the passing away of this fine gentleman. I met Al over forty years ago when he was in charge of CPIC and I of the CRPQ. Although only a work acquaintance, I remember him fondly. I offer you my most sincere condolences.

Thinking of all of you – your Dad gave you many great memories that you can hold close to your hearts.
Summers at Pike Lake always bring back memories of the Potter and Raymond families – good time had by all!
Take Care.

Dear Jean and Family,
I am sorry to hear about Al’s passing.
Al was the personification of a true gentle-man. Both you and Al always had kind, warm smiles when I would see you at St. Andrew’s in Victoria. Take care Jean.
Sincerely,
Rob Heppell
We knew Mr. Potter as a very kind man who gave exceptional service to Canada in his work as an RCMP, to his church as an elder and as a husband/Dad/Grandfather to his large beloved family. It has been a privilege to know him and we thank God for the blessing of his life and love. We extend to you all at this time of great sorrow our sincere condolences and our prayers that you will be comforted.
