Obituary of Kenneth Burton McCARTNEY

August 16, 1958 – March 26, 2012 Kenneth (Ken) Burton McCartney beloved and cherished husband of Heidi H., of Okotoks, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the age of 53 years. Ken was born in Westmount, Quebec. He has worked as a Calgary Transit Operator just over twenty-two years. Ken was an ultimate joker with a passion for hockey, pets, photography, fishing , camping and cooking fabulous meals for dear friends. Beside his loving wife Heidi of over nineteen years, Ken is survived by his mother Helen; sisters Elizabeth and Donna of Oakville, ON; and aunt Audrey Harvey of Calgary. He was predeceased by his father Burton G. McCartney in 1980, and by uncle John Sr. Harvey in 2006.
