Obituary of Marven Leonard BLAKELY

June 5, 1926 – March 20, 2012 Marven Blakely, beloved husband of Margaret of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the age of 85 years. Marven was predeceased by his wife Doris in 2007 and his daughter Diana in 2008. Marven is survived by his wife Margaret and his three sons, Dale (Maggie), Kevin (Fran), and Brent; seven grandchildren, Christopher (Holly), Shelley (Kathy), Bonnie (Dino), Scott, Jerrod, Caroline, and Michael; and six great-grandchildren, Chloe, Natalie, Brooke, Tucker, Miami and Jack. He is also survived by his brother Byron Blakely and was predeceased by his brother Delbert Blakely. Marven was born in New Brunswick and was an Educator in the Protestant school system in Quebec most of his working life. Education was very important to him.
