Obituary of Theodore OUELLETTE

January 26, 1931 – March 16, 2012 Theodore (Ted) Ouellette beloved husband of Dorothy of Tsuu T’ina Nation, was called home to our Creator on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Ted served in the Canadian Army as a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery. He had a passion and took pride in his work as a bricklayer for thirty-six years. Ted was an avid golfer and loved golfing with his sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers and friends at Buffalo Run. When he retired, he worked for Redwood Meadows Golf Course as a Marshal. He loved watching the Calgary Flames and playing poker with the boys. Ted leaves behind his beloved wife of almost fifty-five years Dorothy Ouellette (married June 8, 1957). They shared many loving memories. He is survived by his children, Brenda Ouellette, Terry (Lori) Ouellette, Teddy (Anita) Ouellette, and Jacqueline (Bruce) Larocque; his adopted daughter Wanda Simon; his siblings, John (Jo) Ouellette, Albert (Doreen) Ouellette, Helen Ouellette, Shirley Ouellette, Jennifer Stotz, Tim Ouellette, Wallace Vandale, Connie Scott, Clifford Scott, Alexander Scott, Raymond Scott, Gordon Scott, Reggie Scott, Lorraine Scott, Barbara Hamel, Margaret Dixon, Tom (Beverly) Runner, Violet (Gerald) Meguinis, Stephen (Gloria) Runner, and Patricia (Jerry) Simon. Ted is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Wendy (Tyler), Christine (Joey), Kevin (Desiree), Ryan (Bailey), Robin (Levi), Roger (Erin), Allan (Alison), Genievine (Lyndon), Kelli (Charles), Joliane (Harrison), Bruce and Kurt and 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Theodore Ouellette; his mother Marie Rose Perisien, step-mother Philamine Ouellette; in-laws George and Rose Runner; brothers, James Ouellette, Leonard Ouellette, Floyd Runner and Roger Runner; sisters, Alda Ouellette. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Dorothy Ouellette (Tsuu T’ina Nation) on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Sarcee Seven Chiefs Sportsplex (3700 Anderson Road S.W.) on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuu T’ina Cemetery.
