Obituary of Robert James Bud WARD

April 15, 1929 – March 14, 2012 On Wednesday, March 14, 2012 we said goodbye to a great man. Bud’s journey through this life ended and he was called by God to his eternal reward. He was an active member of the Masonic Temple/Shriners for fifteen years. He worked in the drilling branch of the oil industry for numerous years. His work took him to many parts of Canada and throughout the world and provided him with a wealth of exciting and interesting experiences. Loyal, kind, and loving, Bud and Evelyn enjoyed life to the fullest from their many road trips, many wonderful cruises and their friendships forged through their offshore drilling experience. Bud was a dedicated and committed volunteer to the Shriners that was dear to his heart and was always willing to assist those who were less fortunate. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A wonderful husband, a great dad and proud grandfather, he was predeceased by his parents Steward and Helen Ward; as well as his siblings, John and Margaret (Matt). He leaves to mourn his passing and remember him fondly, his beloved wife Evelyn; daughters Sharon (Richard), Mary Jean (Ziad); and sons Douglas (Maureen), Thomas (Nora); grandchildren Brad, Matt, Brandice, Brandon, Omar, Jasmine; and great grandchildren Lucas and James, brother George (Irene); sisters Helen (Joe predeceased), Pauline (Don); and sister-in-law Margaret, with special appreciation of his twin sister Josie (Wally) and numerous extended family.
