Obituary of George AVRAMENKO

January 20, 1938 – March 11, 2012 George Avramenko, beloved husband of Martha Avramenko of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the age of 74 years. George was born in Sommeberg, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada after the war. He spent his entire working career with the Alberta Government in the Land Titles office retiring as Deputy Registrar in 1993. George maintained an active life in retirement. Besides his loving wife of fifty-three years, George is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Gina Avramenko and Larry Dyck and their son Chase Avramenko. He is also survived by his siblings, Don (Marlene), Dolly, Kathy (Don), numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. George was predeceased by his parents Alexandra and William and his brother Victor. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
