Obituary of Helen Philomena BICEK

April 2, 1942 – March 6, 2012 Helen Bicek beloved wife of Joseph Bicek of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 69 years. Helen was born in Quetta, Pakistan and immigrated to Canada via England. She met and fell in love with Joseph in Montreal and they married in 1968. They started their family while in Quebec and relocated to Calgary in 1981. Helen was proud to work at the Rockyview School Division as an administrative assistant and spent the rest of her working years there until retiring in 2002. Helen found her true calling in 2007 when she became a grandmother for the first time. She was the best Nana any family could dream of. Her three grandchildren would clamour over her whenever she would visit and the house would be filled with laughter and giggles. She is dearly missed. Helen is survived by her husband Joseph, her daughter Lisa and her partner Michel, her son Scott and his wife Catherine along with their three children Benjamin, Jacqueline, and Samuel. Helen is also survived by her siblings James, Lionel (Evelyn), Malcolm and Yvonne (Marc), along with numerous nieces and nephews and their partners and children.
