Obituary of George MARSHALL

May 26, 1933 – March 6, 2012 Dr. George Marshall of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the age of 78 years. George was born in Ayr, Scotland and graduated from the University of St. Andrew’s with a MB ChB. He immigrated to Canada in 1960. Dr. Marshall practiced Medicine at the Holy Cross, Calgary General and Rockyview General Hospitals and had his Family Practice at the Chinook Professional Building until his retirement in 1995. His pride and joy was delivering babies. George was a long time member and Past President of the Calgary Burns Club. He loved to play tennis and golf and was a member of Shawnee Slopes. Dr. Marshall is survived by his son Neil Marshall; daughter and son-in-law Mo and Tony Browning; grandchildren, Katie Marshall, Chrissie Marshall, Brooklynn Browning and Austin Browning; his brother Ian Marshall; his sister Chrissie Rodger; sister-in-law Margaret McKay and their families. He was predeceased by his wife of thirty-five years, Addie Marshall in 1994. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
