Obituary of Ronald John WRIGHT

June 1, 1931 – March 5, 2012 John Wright, beloved husband of the late Shirley Jean Wright of Calgary, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the age of 80 years. John was born in Wingham, ON. He served in the Essex Scottish Reg from 1950 until 1953 out of London, ON. John was also a gunsmith in Oshawa, ON in the 60s. He served with the Corps of Commissionaires in Calgary for thirteen years. John is survived by his sons, Allen (Dorthy), Ronald (Waldi) and Timothy; seven grandchildren, Gerald, James, Christopher, Jessica (Collin), Ron Jr, Tristin, and Angelica; great-grandchild Ethan; his sister Joan (Frank) Cassidy; and nieces, Kelly (John) Scondrianis and Pat Cassidy. John was predeceased by his wife Shirley and his parents Herbert G. and Elfie Wright. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. A Private Family Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
