Obituary of Laura Minto HICKS

July 8, 1922 – March 5, 2012 Laura Hicks loving mother of Barry Hicks of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, March 5, 2012. Laura and her husband Ron had an adventurous life living and working in numerous places in North America and Puerto Rico before returning to Calgary in the seventies. Laura will be dearly missed and remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, kindness and love of life. She is survived by many nephews and nieces. Laura was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 1991 and by her brother and sisters. A Graveside Service will be held at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (16 Avenue and Garden Road N.E.) on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
