Obituary of Jason Floyd DANIELS

August 24, 1973 – March 3, 2012 Indian name by Great Grandfather Tsuu Tina “Everybody’s Looking at Me” Jason, has gone home to be with our Creator on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the age of 38 years. Jason had an unconditional love for his boy and girl. The love he had for others was never below or never above. He had a great passion for horses and his beautiful art work. Team roping was his game, cowboy was his name. He strongly believed in his traditional way, but also read his bible everyday. He left us with a legacy on how God wants us to be. To have a forgiving and loving heart towards people. Jason’s last words: Lord, I want to hear your call, only You can change my life, to be more like You. Thank You for making me Your child. Jason is survived by his children Rope ‘n’ Josie Daniels; parents Floyd Daniels (Verna) and Dianne Dixon (Myron)(Pops), brother Vaughn (Geraldine) (Mah-Hunga), Lane Dixon; sisters September (Rocky)(Tah-Huh), Olivia (Clarence Jr.)(Tah-Huh), grandmother Margaret Dixon; brothers Lionel Crow, Verlin Poucette, Kevin Strandberg, Conrad; sister Gabriel Lefthand; adopted sisters Alvina Chiniquay, Corrina Dixon, Tammy Dixon (Joey); nieces Kaylene and Kodi Big Crow; nephew Daytona Daniels; uncles Derek Daniels, Paul Daniels (Verda), Tom Dixon (Debbie), Bruce Dixon (Shelly), Darcy Dixon (Kathy); aunties Eleanor Daniels, Theresa Dixon (Sheldon), Florene (Gilbert), Sandra (Cash) and Ann (Tater) and adopted uncle Doug Kingsford, special cousins Troy, Ilona, Iris Kootenay and Alvin Chiniquay, and good friend Brennan LaBelle; relatives from Eden Valley, T’suu Tina and Morley and the many friends he made throughout Calgary. Jason was predeceased his paternal grandparents Arthur and Vera Daniels, maternal grandfather Don Dixon, great grandparents George and Rosie Runner and Paul and Florence Dixon, special brother Robin Chiniquay and niece Ayesha Dove. Wake Services will be held at the residence Dianne Dixon (Morley, AB) on today, March 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday March 11, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at Bearspaw Youth Centre (Morley, AB) on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
