Obituary of Lorraine FARMER

March 1, 1945 – February 29, 2012 Lorraine Farmer beloved wife of Ken Brown of Calgary, passed away gracefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Lorraine was born in Grande Prairie, AB but her Dad being in the Canadian Military, the family moved to several locations as a child. Here in Calgary, Lorraine was employed with Fluor for thirty years, and was an active member at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #285 Horton Road. One of Lorraine’s main passions in life was spending time on the farm with many family and good friends. Besides her loving husband Ken, Lorraine is survived by her two sons Gerry (Laurie) and Jeff (Carrie); two grandchildren Taylor and Briann; mother Louise; siblings, Ken (Bonnie), Gary, Shirley (Art) and Pauline (Gordon); close cousins Rusty and Sharon; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sandra and Bob. A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held on the “farm” in late Spring please contact family directly for more information.
