Condolences
Dear Sayers Family,
I have nothing but fond memories of Bill Sayers and his family. He became a friend at Knox United Church in Calgary. In later years, Bill and my husband, Roy Deyell, renewed their friendship until illness and death separated them. You are in my thoughts and I hope that happy memories will soften the pain.
Kindest regards,
Barbara Deyell
Marian, our family is very saddened to hear the news of Bill’s passing. We wish we could be closer to Calgary to share in this Sunday’s celebration of Bill’s life. He touched us all greatly, and will be very missed. I will always cherish our friendship. Chuck and I so appreciated all those years of friendship, our lively visits, and adventures out West. Will connect with you by telephone very soon.
Thinking of you all during this difficult time with much love.
Joyce Lewis, and family
Dear Marian
Sent with love and remembrance of Bill. Good times hiking with the 5th Dimension Club. I was surprised and enjoyed the Sarnia connection.
Love to you Marion

My condolences to you on the loss of Bill. I knew him when we were fellow students living in St. Stephen’s College at U of A in Edmonton. He was assistant minister at Knox United in Calgary in 1964 when Daphne and I were married. He was minister to the young married group then. I have met him occasionally over the years at church functions. He will be missed.

Dear Marion and Family,
Please accept my condolences upon the passing of Bill.
As chair of the CE committee when you came to Grace United, Lloydminster, I had the privilege of working with Bill. It was a pleasure as he was so knowledgable and helpful to me in my job.
