Obituary of Josef VLACH

July 25, 1948 – February 24, 2012 Josef Vlach beloved husband of Jana Vlach of Calgary, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the age of 63 years. Josef was born in Napajedla, Czech Republic. He witnessed the invasion by Soviet planes in 1968, which ultimately led him to leave his beloved homeland in 1986 and start a new life in Canada with his family. Josef is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jana, his son, Robert and his daughter, Jana and her husband, Philip. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Bryce and Danielle, and his nephew Zdenek. Josef was predeceased by parents Josef and Marie and his brother Zdenek. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
