Obituary of Harry John STECH

February 15, 1935 – February 24, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, brother and grandfather on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the age of 77 years, after a bravely fought, year long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the family that was so important to him. After a 32 year career with AGT/Telus he enjoyed his yard and garden and always found a new project to keep busy with. For the past 13 years he looked forward to going to work with his colleagues at the Calgary Citizens’ Appeal Panel. His family and friends will remember a remarkable man with great style, integrity, and who was quick with a quip or a joke. He had an ear for anyone who needed to talk and was ready with wise advice. Harry is survived by his loving wife Dorina of 52 years, daughters Brenda and Michele (Daryel) and son Richard (Kathy) and the grandchildren he was so very proud of Madison, Alexa, Harrison, Stephen and Garrett. Harry is also survived by his brother Mike (Barb) Stech and his sister Mary (Barry) Johnston. He was pre-deceased by his father Stephen and his mother Christine.
