Obituary of Doris Maria MARX

August 30, 1935 – February 18, 2012 Doris Marx of Calgary passed away early Saturday morning after losing her courageous battle with cancer at the age of 76 years. She was a volunteer for many years with the Calgary Stampede and a long time member of Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club. She will be lovingly remembered for her courage, strength, generosity and love of life. She is survived by her daughter Janet Smith; grandson Will Gibb; great-grandson Jayden Burns; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Willie Marx; granddaughter Shaylea Smith; parents Maria and August Lengsfeld; sister Elizabeth Eckelt; and brothers George and Manfred Lengsfeld.
