I remember Jean Warner when she was working in admin in the Principal’s office at Red Lake District High School.
My brother was going out with her daughter, but I didn’t know Jean was Marilyn’s mother. And one day, don’t I get called into the Principal’s office, and I’m sitting there on the bench cooling my heels, terrified about what lambasting I’m going to get in the inner sanctum. And Jean is giving me a look that could have killed – here was her daughter’s boyfriend’s little sister in trouble with the Principal! What a way to meet Wayne’s future mother-in-law.
Jean, you lived a long full life with a big family, you can be proud of. You are no longer in pain, but you will always be in the memories.
