Obituary of Jack Arnold BROWN

January 6, 1954 – February 17, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Arnold Brown announce his passing on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 58 years young, with his loving wife at his side. Jack was born in Edmonton Alberta, but for most of his life called Calgary home. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his warmth and thoughtfulness. Jack made many friends throughout his life, and in his years of service at Totem, where his outgoing personality and willingness to help others will never be forgotten. He took several trips to Thailand and embraced the culture and its people. While visiting the country Jack met Kanyanee (Oud) who later came to Calgary, and soon became his wife. Jack is survived by his devoted wife Kanyanee (Oud), and immediate family Jim (Linda), Gerry (Bev), Joe, Colleen, Bill (Lorraine), Randy (Lori) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his father, Jim (Pat) and half-siblings, Stephen (Tina) and Stacey (Sean) Curran. He was predeceased by his mother Rita, and brother Mike. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Jack at an informal celebration of his life at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday March 2, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. Jack has been cremated and will be interred with his Mother and brother Mike at the Okotoks Cemetery at a private family gathering respecting his wishes.
