Obituary of Stanislawa Hanna BEEGER

March 23, 1927 – February 17, 2012 Hanna Beeger, beloved companion of Henry Miasek of Calgary, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Hanna was born in Warsaw, Poland and immigrated to Canada with her husband Janusz and son Marc in 1952. In 1954, with the addition of their daughter they moved to Calgary where Hanna worked at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic for a number of years. She then joined the family business, Mona Lisa Art Salon (Mona Lisa Artists’ Ltd) in 1969, until her retirement. Hanna will be lovingly remembered by her children Marc Beeger (Jocelyn) and Jolanda Cundy; four grandchildren, Jennifer Beeger (Charlotte), Morgan Beeger (Heather), Michael Cundy (Jessica) and Tiffani Cundy; four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Aurora, Hunter and Max. She will also be remembered by her siblings, Regina Jacak and Richard Niedzialek; a niece Monica Flinn, nephew John Jacak and their families as well as countless friends. Hanna was predeceased by her husband and soul-mate Janusz (John) Beeger in 1986. Hanna’s advice on life, her smile, and laughter will be greatly missed by her family and all those lives she touched. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nursing staff and Dr. R. Dargie on unit 59 at the Rockyview General Hospital for their special care and compassion that was given to Hanna. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.) on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
