Condolences
I was saddened to hear of DG’s passing. As a life long kayak and canoe racer and for a period in university a rower I really came to admire DG’s determination and passion for “being on the water”. I particularly remember a period in the 1990’s when he was having trouble with his legs and decided to purchase and paddle one of the very tippy Lancer K-1 racing craft, something 14 year olds have trouble let alone someone about 70 years of age. I really knew little about DG’s professional life but I find it interesting he was a Shell engineer and later started his own firm, which has been exactly my career path. I’m sure he’s getting up early somewhere this morning to launch before dawn.
With sincere condolences to old neighbours and friends Louisa and Lucy on your loss…
I forgot some of the history and common roots we shared back to China and Hong Kong until I read about your Father’s background and childhood. I will always remember the big, old convertible and was honoured to chat with your father a few times dockside near the rowing club during my dragon boating days! My thoughts and prayers are with you…
Elizabeth & Family,
I was sorry to hear of D.G.’s passing. Mum & Dad always enjoyed talking to him. I know he will be missed.

Dear Elizabeth,
I was surprised & saddened to see the obit for D-G in the paper over the weekend. I immediately phoned Roy.
It seems D-G had a very interesting life. I was reminded of Rick Hanson because he also married his therapist.
May your family & your memories help you through this difficult time.
My sympathy to you for the loss of your husband. Sincerely, Mildred (CSRS)
To Elizabeth:
My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your husband D-G. From the item in the Calgary Herald he was a unique and distinguished individual, and I am sure you will miss him a lot.
I will check with you in the spring time to see if you still want to go out a time or two on the bluebird trail.
Dear Elizabeth and family:
I was saddened to read the notice today in the Herald of Glascott’s passing. During the times I drove him to his appointments I admired his sheer determination to stay mobile and independent. I see that Glascott led a very long, successful and interesting life. My sincere condolences on your loss. Anne
Sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you.
