We came to know Sheila after her M.S. diagnosis and even though she struggled as the disease progressively got worse, we admired her perseverance in trying to overcome the obstacles she was faced with. Sincere condolences at this very sad time. I have many delightful and happy memories of Sheila in the late ’50s and early ’60s in Beiseker. Her positive energy for life in any gathering was so welcome and infectous! My brothers and I felt ‘priveleged’ on many summer Saturday nights to “hide” her in the back warehouse of a busy Hagel’s Grocery store, away from all the boys wanting her attention! Keeping her momentarily “safe” seemed to be one of our more joyful responsibilities.

I’m sure she passed her zest for life with ease, on to her family.
